How many strands of JascoPro under-eave lights can be linked?
Including light strands and extension cables, up to 99ft./108 lights can be linked to one power supply.
A second power supply is required to cover greater than 99ft. Sets can be grouped in the JascoPro app to control all lights simultaneously.
How do I link strands to a set of under-eave lights?
Before installing under-eave lights, ensure power is disconnected. Remove the cap at the end of the first strand, connect a second strand and secure with the gasket. Plug in the lights near your router and confirm all lights flash.
Why aren’t my connected strands illuminating together?
If a light strand is added after the set is plugged in, unplug, then, plug in the power supply to confirm the lights are connected. This verifies the lights are synced.
How do I connect an extension cable?
With the lights unplugged, remove the cap at the end of a light strand, connect the extension cable and secure with the gasket. Repeat this process to connect the next strand to the extension cable. Do not connect the extension directly to the power supply. Only one extension cable can be installed between two light strands.
Can I control my under-eave lights with other JascoPro Wi-Fi products?
Yes, under-eave lights use the JascoPro app and can be controlled and grouped with other JascoPro products. Please note, only similar device types can be grouped. For example, Under-eave lights cannot be grouped with ON/OFF switches.
The first item selected determines the interface and functions of the group.
Do under-eave lights withstand inclement weather?
Under-eave lights are built with premium commercial-grade wire and certified for permanent installations. They are tested to endure the elements, such as rain and wind, through the year. The power supply has an IP65 rating and cord is rated at IP67. Under-eave lights are intended to be installed on the eaves of your home and not on the ground.
What mounting surfaces are supported?
Two styles of patent-pending mounting brackets with screws are included to install on wood, vinyl and aluminum. The brackets are secured with self-drilling 3/4in. #6 screws with 1/4in. hex heads.
Brick or concrete installation is possible if the provided screws are replaced with appropriate masonry screws — not included.
Are under-eave lights cuttable?
Yes, under-eave lights can be cut to fit your layout. Any time the lights are cut, ensure power is disconnected and you perform the “light count setup” process under settings in the JascoPro app. Be sure to install the silicone end cap on the cut end of the strand.
What is the best placement for the under-eave lights?
The lights can be placed as far or close to the wall as you want. Lights placed farther from the wall spread the light for more coverage of our home.
Pro Clips are angled to create a greater wall-wash effect. For eaves without fascia, round mounting brackets may be the best option.
What are the dimensions of the under-eave lights?
Under-eave lights are available in 82.5ft. black and white sets. Each kit includes five 16.5ft. strands with 90 total lights, two extension cables, power supply and cord clips. Two styles of patent-pending mounting clips are also included to accommodate various installation needs.
Additional light strands, extension cables, power supplies and mounting clips are sold separately to customize your setup.
How are the sets powered?
The lights plug in to any 120VAC outlet. Use a GFCI-protected outlet for outdoor use. A switched outlet is recommended.
What should I do if my lights are not found during pairing?
Confirm your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Check the Wi-Fi strength where the lights are installed. If necessary, move your router closer to the lights. Verify app permissions allow devices to be found.

Do I need to manually turn on/off my under-eave lights?
No, the schedule and automations tabs offer automatic control. Three presets turn on and off the lights at common times of day. Custom ON/OFF schedules based on times and sunrise/sunset are also available. Any schedule can occur the day it is created or repeat any day or days of the week. The group function supports simultaneous control of multiple sets.
Are under-eave lights dimmable?
Yes, full-range brightness adjustment is available in the JascoPro app. Three preset buttons and a dimming slider provide convenient options.
Are there light color options?
Yes, under-eave lights can be customized in a wide variety of colors, modes and combinations. From single-color white to up to six-color combinations, there are options for every need. Preset modes also offer fun settings for holidays, season and more.
The “basic” option offers a preset color palette with white options. “Advanced” features a color wheel for custom colors.
Are modes customizable?
Yes, when choosing a preset mode, you can adjust effects, speed and dimming. Custom modes can also be created for quick recall.
How do I edit a mode in the JascoPro app?
From the under-eave lights screen in the JascoPro app, select a mode in the drop-down.
• Tap the pencil icon.
• Choose an available effect, such as “strobe” or “pulse.”
• Adjust the speed and dimming of the selected effect.
• Tap “save.”
• “Reset to default” returns the mode to its original settings.
When using an effect, do all the lights travel the same direction?
No, “reverse effect direction” under settings offers the option to choose the direction of the effect.
How do I create light templates?
Each bulb in the set can be enabled and disabled to meet your coverage needs. Save a template to quickly recall your settings for different seasons, holidays or occasions. Templates can be created for each set of under-eave lights.

How do I control multiple sets of under-eave lights if I exceed the maximum length of one set?
The group function in the JascoPro app allows you to control and schedule multiple sets and similar JascoPro lighting products simultaneously. This is great if you exceed the maximum length of under-eave lights.
